realm, she finds herself falling in love. After rushing back through a
mushroom ring to her fairy land of Shea in search of aid, her parents refuse to
help.
She enlists Kavan, her childhood companion. He casts a spell to give
Tamberlyn the ability to aid the man by giving her the appearance and size of a
mortal woman but his spell will only last a few weeks.
She travels back to Brierland and discovers her mortal male, being nursed by an
elderly couple. Tamberlyn learns the wounded human is Rollin Thorn of
Weddington Hills-aka-the famed Red Rose Knight.
Upon his awakening, serious-minded Rollin is annoyed by Tamberlyn's
whimsical, playful personality. Sparks fly yet an attraction develops between the
two.
